Support our server project! 100% of donations go directly into technical infrastructure: renting virtual servers from providers with flexible payment models. This allows us to adapt quickly to the current technical situation. Setup, maintenance, administration, and public communication are all done entirely on a voluntary basis.

Every amount helps: with every additional euro, more people can move through the internet without censorship. As a rough guide:

10 euros enable around 100 people to communicate securely for one month, at any given time.

2. Activate Snowflakevery easy

Become a bridge with Snowflake!

The Tor Browser can route data through a digital maze, helping Tor users stay anonymous. But in many censored regions, Tor itself is blocked.

Snowflake helps with that: through your browser, you donate a secure, disguised bridge that makes the Tor network reachable again. Best of all, you can add Snowflake to your browser with two clicks:

Once Snowflake is installed, you relay traffic from censored users into the Tor network.

Why this is safe for you:

• No liability: Your Snowflake does not visit websites itself; it only relays data. That means you cannot be held responsible for the content being accessed.
• Full privacy: All traffic is strongly encrypted. Nobody can see the relayed traffic.
• Invisibility: You never see who uses your bridge, and users do not see who provides the bridge.

3. Use Conduiteasy

Install Conduit on your Android device, PC, or Mac.

Download the Conduit app and share a small part of your bandwidth with Psiphon users.

Your device becomes a station ("relay"), just like our servers. You can easily choose in the app how much of your bandwidth you want to make available.

Bonus:

Do you have family or friends in countries affected by censorship?

Then you can help them directly and connect them to your device through Personal Pairing.

4. Share informationvery easy

As activists, we are always working to increase visibility, especially on social media. Every like, comment, save, and share signals to social media algorithms that a post is relevant and increases its reach.

You can find content on this topic that can be shared directly on our Instagram, for example.

Beyond that, there are many excellent organizations exposing abuses and/or working to change political conditions: Access Now, Article 19, CCC, digitalcourage, direct2cell, NetBlocks, OONI, and others. Visibility helps them too, and we are fighting on the same side.

5. Contribute technical expertisefor experts

We are looking for people with technical backgrounds who want to help us better understand censorship infrastructure and perhaps even develop realistic countermeasures.

What matters is not having perfect answers, but expertise, experience, and the willingness to analyze together.

If you work with networks, routing, mobile infrastructure, DNS, VPNs, Tor, protocols, cloud infrastructure, IT security, reverse engineering, OSINT, or monitoring, your knowledge can help. The goal is to identify technical patterns, find weaknesses, assess circumvention strategies, and above all connect the right people with each other.

Concrete questions include:

How are isolated networks, such as Iran's NIN, technically built? Where do attack surfaces, gaps, or circumvention opportunities emerge? Which counter-strategies are practical, safe, and scalable? How can communication and independent information remain possible despite isolation? Where does the population also need to be warned about surveillance measures?
